Welcome to the Barnabas Church Planting Network! Our journey began with a calling and a shared vision to support church planting in a way that extends beyond the traditional roles of pastors and church planters.

My personal experience with the launch of Bridge Church in Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Canada, was transformative. Being part of a dedicated launch team of laity supporting the church planter, it became clear that the work and expertise required to plant a church are far too much for any individual or couple to bear alone. This realization sparked the creation of the Barnabas Church Planting Network.

At Barnabas, we believe that the calling of church planting is not limited to pastors alone but is a collective mission for all disciples of Christ. The Barnabas planting network is built on the principle that a team with a broad range of skills and experiences can more effectively launch and sustain a new church. By working together, we can bring the gospel to our communities in a powerful and sustainable way (Which is crucial as Pastor Burnout is way too high).

Our mission is specifically to equip and support Full Church Launch Teams alongside the church planter with the resources, training, and community they need to thrive. We are committed to fostering a collaborative environment where every member’s unique gifts and talents are utilized to their fullest potential.
